Exempt Market Dealers Association of Canada (EMDA), in partnership with the Canada’s Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA), invites you to attend CROWDFUNDING in the CANADIAN CONTEXT on February 12, 2013.
Crowdfunding represents a new part of the capital-raising ecosystem and is being seriously considered by securities regulators in Canada, along with the other new capital raising prospectus exemptions. On December 14, 2012, the Ontario Securities Commission published its concept proposal titled OSC Staff Consultation Paper 45-710 – Considerations for New Capital Raising Prospectus Exemptions, which you can review here.
